According to the Skysports preview for the Colchester game, he has not been playing due to an injured hand. They state that Rob Elliot is stalling over a contract and it appears from the article (I don't know how well informed it is) that it is intended for Hamer to be our number one? Thoughts?
It's hard to leave Rob out after 2 wins, unless a move is imminent. Unless Powell is desperate to go "It's Hamer time!!!"
Hamer is going to be our No 1, make no mistake about that. He has a damaged hand at the moment and therefore not fit to play. Elliott will be off soon enough as the club aint gonna pay him silly money which he is after. This is all included in the Elliott thread of a week or two back.
