I haven't voted because I haven't had the opportunity to watch Hamer live or on TV across a full match. I think its actually a very tough choice because I like Bachmann, and he was made captain for a reason, and I don't think there's anything particularly from a goalkeeping standpoint that means he should lose his place.

There's also a risk unique to goalkeepers you end up in a situation where you kind of force him out of the club at the end of the season because of some temporary decision about form. Even if you think Hamer is the better choice right now, Hamer isn't the long-term solution, so that would mean bringing in a new number 1 next year.

Having said that, it's hard to drop someone that saved a penalty, and Bachmann may be a bit more of a liability in terms of getting carded.

I think they are both good based on displays, only seen Harmer a few times so difficult to tell long term. Maybe Bachmann being the capt a wrong call by IS? Don't think I have enough info to vote.
How about a don't know dot Yorkie?

Hamer: if only because he has done nothing to warrant being dropped. Au contraire, he has improved as he gains first team match fitness.
I would have expected DB to have saved the second Norwich goal. That said, DB is an exceptional shot-stopper. But that's not all that is required of a keeper.
Hamer deserves his chance, and the Club should be looking to strengthen the GK position.

I'm firmly in the Bachmann camp. Like every player, he has faults but he is an excellent shot stopper, and he has saved us far more than he has cost us. On top of that, he's an international - with 14 caps for his country.

Hamer is still really an unknown quantity - having only seen him play twice, it's too hard to form an opinion. One good game doesn't a season make...All there is to go by is his playing record elsewhere - and he has changed clubs nearly as often as we have changed Head Coaches.

I don't think Bachmann should be captain though - captains need to be mobile around the whole pitch, not just their own penalty areas.
