Anyone else play Halo 2 and Halo 3 as a teen and looking forward to playing this?

If Amazon haven't cocked up big time again, It'll be waiting for me when I get in.

I can't wait to get back into the series. Halo 2 online was amazing. Halo 3 custom games were awesome. I miss the old Halo online communities.

Halo Reach just didn't feel the same. Halo 4 is where I resume playing the Halo series, and it's been over 5 years!

Anyone else looking forward to getting back into the story with Master Chief?

I used to love Halo, but then the 360 started to date very quickly. Have used the PC for the past 2 years now and going back to 360 feels like playing on PS one. Shame that game developers still scale down games for the consoles <grr>

I will eventually get it. First time I played halo on the old xbox was when I was bored ****less and decided to see which of my brothers games were any good. Halo or Area51 <laugh>

Ive just finished Resistance 3 on the PS3. Loved that series aswell. Underrated compared with Halo as well. Probably not quite as good but a great game in itself.

Got Max Payne 3 to play the other day but not feeling it.

Also I always associate PC gaming with spotty geeks <laugh>. My brother is a PC gamer and while hes had a console or 2 hes always preferred the PC and I see him as a spotty warcraft playing geek.

not really unless you want to pay €1200 on a sturdy gaming tower without monitor speakers ect and all other bits.

On the other side am pished off developers releasing for unfinished games on the PC format. Oh deadlines and "We'll fix it in a patch".. after release.

My son love Halo and has been going on about 4 all week.

I do not play them myself, PC all the way though footy games are just not the same on a PC, better on the console

PCs are for the more expansive games. Larger levels better graphics and BEST OF ALL. Modding games you are bored with for a new lease of life!!

Anyone playing FPS on a joypad needs to get help :)

I still love my xbox, I play on a very old plasma so the graphics will suffer no matter the consol, I'll probably wait for them to release a new xbox and lower the price before updating.

Halo was ok but the Modern Warfare series took it to a new level so they will have to work hard for this to be good.

    Agreed.

Half life on PC was my addiction years ago. Tried COD recently on brother in laws ps3, I gave up before I lost my temper and put my foot thru the telly.

I think it is next year or beginning of 2014 we are supposed to see the new PS4 (orbis I think it is called ) and XBox 720. With that being said on TV's, they are dropping like crazy and you can get a pretty good deal. 47inch LG tv for 598 over here is not bad in the slightest.

You can get a 42 inch tv over here for £350ish but I like my dinosaur it's one of the first plasmas with the big lead attached to a tuner box.

TVs are going down in price as the next gen is due soon. 4k res stuff. **** all provides that so for the next decade or so full hd 3d tvs will be the norm.

Techs coming out too fast these days. They barely perfect the current stuff.

Not wearing that damn 3d glasses. Should come out with a screen that goes in front of the 3d tv ( just an inch or so off it) that creates that illusion and keeps the calrity crisp.

I enjoy watching the occasional 3d film or doc. Just player resistance 3 in 3d. Well at times I did. Couldnt do it all the time though but my glasses I grabbed from the cinema and they weigh nothing.

I want more pop out though <laugh> Imax Under the See has the best pop out I have seen so far. A **** off fish was in my living room.

I hate 3D but will consider it when they get rid of the glasses.

Contacts? The glass would be a pain as imagine it broke. Would no doubt cost a small nations GDP to replace.

I mean active shutter glasses are 40-100quid. Passive are 80p.

If they go teh active shutter way and make it into a screen over the screen it will be very expensive and not very economical.
