A superb shot from Cesc Fabregas. More comical and heat of the moment than vindictive and I don't think he should have been sent off. The West Brom defenders were going all out to get Costa wound up and sent off so the Fabregas reaction and sending off was an added bonus for them.

One of the weirdest and dumbest things I have seen for a long time. What was he thinking? I think 1 week for the act is right but he should get another week for stupidity, then one week off for such a good shot! So the FA finally get something right .

I can't actually believe he got sent off for that. He didn't even kick it hard, he was just kicking it back to the area, you could see by the way he kicked it. No effort at all.

Agree with you CP. It was one of the stupidest things I've seen from a footballer for a while.

Also, stopped Jose fielding kids a little earlier as he already had two strikers on; although even if we were 3-0 up, Izzy would not have entered play until 65 or so minutes

Just pleased to see the kids run out. So far Zouma, RLC, Ake and Izzey have not put a foot wrong. I have not actually suggested we should play 2 or 3 kids in the same team in important games, but I am convinced that we could play more during the season as we have done with Zouma . Start a game occasionally, come off the bench occasionally. In my opinion , we could have 3 of our kids at seasons end with the experience only Zouma has gained, and not risked our success.
    Anyway, thankful for small mercies.
