I have had a meeting with James Mooney today in relation to the flags already produced and what he wants going forward. He wants a Hall of Fame next season, one player per game. He is looking at inviting that player (if still alive!!) to be the guest of honour for the match and flags and banners (possibly the matchday programme) will be produced to celebrate that players achievements at the club. He wants the fans input into who should be in the Hall of Fame and will either put it out to a poll for everyone or actually do it per stand (so they can have their favourites around them). He also discussed having built an Hull City Museum in the grounds surrounding the stadium. Personally I think both are good ideas but I thought I'd mention the meeting and his future proposals, they're also looking into the corporate advertising being reduced so more fan banners can be put up permanently but that is in the process of being looked into.
Well done again mauled. You n Dutch are going to need a bigger cap with all these feathers. Well done.
Full credit to you mauled. It's great to think your work will get wider coverage. It's also good to read something positive about the club, especially when we can see that it was initiated by posters on here. Let's hope it's a sign of things to come. What else can people on here help to develop?
Positive news, City museum long overdue. Apart from the obvious legends I nominate Gareth Roberts and Andy Dawson for the hall of fame.
Maybe we could have a Walk of Fame. In Hollywood they embed a star into the pavement along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street together with the Hollywood Legend's handprint set into wet cement. We could have our Legends' names inside a football shape placed all around outside the KC with an impression of their foot ((booted or otherwise). For those no longer with us, such as Raich Carter, maybe just a small laurel wreath instead of the boot print. This would become a lasting monument to great Hull City players, past and present.
