10th: Ricciardo - great qualifying pace has seen his Toro Rosso become pretty much a feature in Q3, but needs to start converting that into points 9th: Bianchi - was the complete class of the back of the pack at the start of the season. The Marussia's pace has left him somewhat stranded in recent races though 8th: Button - has collected double his team-mate's points tally and dragged the Mclaren to high points finishes its pace does not deserve 7th: Rosberg - started extremely well for Mercedes, but has faded in recent weeks in contrast to his team-mate 6th: di Resta - everyone expected Sutil to completely outclass him and it hasn't happened. Reliability woes and lack of development have hurt his recent performances though 5th: Hulkenberg - scraping points in that Sauber is nothing short of a minor miracle 4th: Hamilton - poor start to the season but has now found his one-lap pace once again and Hungary proved he can turn that into wins 3rd: Raikkonen - I knew that as soon as he was hyped up for WDC contention he would struggle to pick up that elusive second win. As with last year, he's picked up plenty of podium finishes but needs to convert those into wins to challenge Vettel 2nd: Alonso - has continued to consistently pick up high points in a car that is increasingly slipping down the grid, and is only one point behind Raikkonen in the WDC 1st: Vettel. No contest I'm afraid - he tops the WDC for a reason, and would do so by a far greater margin had he not retired in Silverstone. Honourable mentions go to Perez, who destroyed Button at the start of the season; Grosjean, who's looked a real talent in the last two races; and Bottas, for qualifying so well at Canada.
