Haldane bucket collection

Collection for our former player

There will be a bucket collection for former Gas player Lewis Haldane at Saturday's game against York.

The midfielder's career was tragically cut short after suffering a double leg break while playing for Port Vale at the start of the 2011/12 season.

Lewis will be well remembered by Gasheads for his part in our promotion season 2006/07.

Please give generously if you see a bucket collector on Saturday.

he led the team out vs port vale as he played for both sides which was a nice touch.

 

Shrewsbury's little French chap on the right wing was causing havoc when we played them at Wembley. Our backs were having a mare against him. Had Lewis not tackled back to nullify the little nuisance I don't think we could have won that game.
