Rumours out of Italy suggest we've made either a straight offer or loan to buy. AC Milan in a bit of a pickle, again, and this guy is allegedly surplus to requirements.

Hell yes from me. But then I'd take Stewart Downing if it meant getting Atsu out of the team.

What we've got is a team absolutely full of spirit. Under Rafa, it was similar but different, in the sense of we were driven heavily by discipline. What both Rafa and Bruce have in common is there's a clear and distinct lack of actual Premier League quality in the squad. We have a lot of work to do with recruitment and I'm fecking petrified of having a scouting team who "found" Joelinton in charge.

We need better attacking players, and we need them now. We need a winger or playmaker, a striker and a left back this month. Hakan would take the playmaker role, Rose could be left back on loan and then we desperately, desperately need a striker (a la Rondon) who will work and get goals.

The question I'd ask is why we're not scoring many goals. Do we need a genuine finisher or more service into the box?

May be a pointless question if the oaf thinks we've enough to survive as we are.

Hope to God Bruce is ****ing bluffing when he says **** like "we've got Gayle and Muto coming back, why would I buy anyone".

Forget the fact that Muto and Gayle are both crap, but Joelinton is a ****ing massive problem. We have one PL striker who won't play more than half of our games. Carroll will do well to get half a dozen goals from here. That would equate to 7 goals from our strikers all season (Joelinton will NOT score a goal in the PL again this season).

I get Slugworth doesn't care about the club, but he volunteered £20m to Joelinton and should ****ing well pay for it. He's been an absolute, unmitigated disaster. He's surpassed Luque, Ferreyra, De Jong as our worst attacker ever and cost almost as much as the entire rest of the NUFC team he plays in.

 

Atsu really is hopeless

 

Can't see it happening and he's obvs good....but but but, a ****ing STRIKER please! Why all the midfielders?!

Unless we plan on turning Schar into a striker.

 

Tbh we need cms ams strikers and wing backs.. we have no quality bar max and miggy in those areas
