Devastated by the news that both Sammi and Ledley might be sold. Sammi is among the top hair styles in Europe right now and although Ledleys barnet is not to my own personal taste I can see the care and attention it receives. Clearly both these guys stay behind after normal training is finished to work on their individual coiffeuring. As a concerned armchair fan who gives **** all to the club I am worried about the manager and boards direction on this front. We sold Hooper, who rivaled Ledley in the well trimmed short back and sides/long on top, to replace him with ... what ?

Puki ? With those touselled boyish locks only a mum could love ? Hardly designed to strike fear into the heart of any reasonably styled defender.

Balde ? Well, the clue is in the name and clearly the scouts haven`t been razor sharp here.

Boerrigter ? Really ? Hair that even David Coulthard wouldn`t leave the house with. Grand Prix indeed.

Now, I understand that players hair care products need time to adapt to the Scottish game, still...three fringe players at most I would say.

At the back a slightly different story where at least big Virgil appears to have gelled with his team-mates. If only we could say the same of his hair. Currently we have a centre back pairing that at times resembles an explosion in a pubic hair factory.

Another concern is in the goalkeeping department where doubt over the keepers unwillingness to come off his line persists - but ask yourself, if you had Lurches Hulk-hairdo, would you expose yourself any more to the limelight than absolutely necessary ?

So why are the manager and board giving new contracts to the likes of Stokes ? We can see that his hair might be adequate for routine SPFL games, but its obvious he will never cut it in the champions league.

Lennon = Ginger = jealous of people with nice hair. This was always going to happen. Hopper was the first of many.

You are probably right , the so-called Lurgan Bigot cares not a jot about a mans race, creed or the colour of his skin ... but, when it comes down to the follicles ...

Stokes' fortcoming hair transplant may transform him into the CL goal machine we're crying out for.

I dont think he will ever get to that level - his next move will be Wigan or something like that.
