I'm sure I remember hearing that Republic of Ireland were struggling for creativity a few games ago - and they still overlook Wes? Although saying that, long may it continue, I don't really want him injured on international duty!
DHC, I should just point out that Wes is from Dublin, and therefore plays (or doesn't it appears) for the Republic of Ireland, not N.I. As someone with strong ties to R.O.I. I'd love to see a Norwich player in the team. Simply can't believe he's not even in the squad. Bring back big Jack!
I believe that its the Republic of Ireland and not NI that are snubbing him. I gather it's because Eire don't do the diamond so can't play Wes in his best position. However, if Duff is injured he may still be called up into the squad. If it were me, I'd be building my team around Wessi.
