...very, very recently for fear of being corrected!

Bunch of hypocrites from the Manc dominated site that is Sport Witness!!<grr>

(And that mare had the barefaced affrontery to accuse ME of being unfair! It's a long story...)

    Should I be surprised?

    No.

For our own part, our finishing needs looking at, that much is certain. I'm not denying that. We should've had Stoke on Saturday. We blew it.

We should start forgetting about refs, anyway; we ought to know by now they can't do their job and most of them are paid by manyoo.

Goals in the net, that's all that counts.

But Clattenburg bowed to pressure by the Stoke crowd. That much is also certain.

We ought to just forget about refs in future and just stick the bloody thing in the net (am I allowed to say 'bloody'?) that's what counts!

<yikes> No wonder you left. <ok>

Our finishing was bad, I thought the only way we would break them was on the counter and a defense splitting pass such as the Enrique to Hendo one. But we rarely got the opportunity after Stoke sat back with 10 players in the box, we were short of options.

As for the penalty, other than the questionable ref decision I think Carra should have dealt with it a lot better than he did.

With the experience Carra has, and possibly knowing that Clattenburg is a Webb clone anyway, he ought to have known he wouldn't have got away with it. It was a questionable penalty but in any event it was given.

The fact that the three handballs weren't given for us rankles but there you go.

FYI I only went onto SW just now to see if any of my fellow LFC fans had noticed I'd gone...not one! I feel most unloved.<wah><wah> May's well be DEAD!

    Ah, well, c'est la vie!<somersault><somersault>

    Wishi.
You've joined up a long time after the demise of BBC606. It may be interesting to get a womans view of events that occur. I do agree that the two-faced journos will make a meal out of Kennys comments, even though they deliberately ignored some of Fergusons. They are doing their level best not to upset him. Something that I find rediculous. He's not God or anything, he should be treated like all managers.

I don't see what Carra could have done. His initial positioning was right but when you are barged/forearm-smashed off the ball you have to rely upon the referee.

Any team that aprks the bus as efectively as Stoke did will always cause you problems. It wasn't so much the running out of options that was the problem but the failure to take the chances when they came.

I was on Sport Witness, that's why.

Ferguson isn't God, either; or hasn't anyone had the balls to break that particular piece of news to him yet?

    I shall.

Just for Notice, I know the admin don't look kindly on posting the URLs of either Ja606 or Sports witness, so I've put the actual article in instead.

Now thats a qum skylarker and a poor one at that. To be fair to kenny the delap one was a penalty the other ine wasnt as it came up off his leg. The carragher one was also a penalty but liverpool have had some dubious ones ober the last few years it all evens itself out u got one last season which was out side the area.

About 50% of our goals conceded under Kenny have been penalties!

Yeah because he never gets banned or criticised. We never see rival fans up in arms calling Sir Alex an ungracious sore loser and crying their little eyes out over it <doh>

    Are you seriously this blind?

No; I know he's been banned and criticised; doesn't stop him thinking his word is law, though. It won't stop him from moaning again.

That's why he wheels his deputy out to talk to the journos when united lose.

But your fans calling Kenny for having a moan is pots and kettles, in view of what's gone on before.

Maybe it's because since "King" Kenny took over as Liverpool Manager we've heard from your fans how he is such a dignified and gracious human being while Sir Alex is an evil, moaning, ungracious sore loser?

Every time Sir Alex breaths certain Liverpool fans start spouting rubbish to slate him so when your Manager starts moaning you've got to expect to get some back.
