http://m.espn.go.com/soccer/story?storyId=1400143 Apparently United fans are so quiet they are hunting desperately for acoustic experts to try and make them sound louder. No. This isn't parody... it is real.
"There were supporters in the Stretford End who thought they had made a lot of noise - only for friends in different parts of the ground to say they couldn't hear them. The sound of chomping on prawn sandwiches doesnty count
They need signs that tell the fans when to cheer and boo. Rooney scores and the signs light up saying "cheer that's a good thing". Rooney given a red card the "boo" and "call ref a ****er" signs light up. Hopefully the man operating the signs doesn't get them mixed up.
I thought they already had that! Just thought the guy in charge had forgot to take the Cantona tape out......
They will probably record cheering at Anfield to play at OT over the speakers. Then they will complain and say we stole "Steve Gerrard Gerrard" song from them and they've been singing praises of Stevie Gerrard since the mid seventies.
Haha good stuf Mouths constantly stuffed with prawn sandwiches. The chewing noise drowning out the 15k genuine fans.
Well the noise and atmosphere at Anfield yesterday were astounding. Heard SA giving instructions most of the game and a few choruses of blowing bubbles. Only watched it on tv though so maybe the tv crews had the mighty Anfield crowd on mute.
Brian from surrey played glory glory man utd on his iphone 5 while slumming in the shed and expected his pal christian in the box to hear it... pity his friend had returnd to the box for another sandwich. Prawn again Christian?
