Alright, Swans. Good win for you lot last night I was wondering if you guys could help me with a tech support question I have. A few months ago we bought a Gylfi Sigurdsson after being impressed with how it was implemented at Swansea. For the first few months in preseason it was running well but since trying to use it on the Premier League system there has been a number of errors leading me to believe it's incompatible. As you guys had your Gylfi working well in the Premier League I was hoping you could tell us how to get ours functioning properly. Ta
Would it help if he put on a Northern Irish accent too? We already play in white and have a Welsh player so I don't see what more we can do
You seem to missing teh BR plug in adaptor. Apparently it has a smoke blowing attachment that fits in the rear end. Without it you cant access the advanced functions and tus leaving it useless with the PL system. For more info and support on how the BR smoke attachment works there is a rael good Channel 5 documentary that explains it in full if you can be bothered I believe there is even a mention about some kind of user manual that is available but I haven't seen it so not sure if that is an urban myth.
Vicious, (I'd better not shorten it to Yid in case the PC police are patrolling), I'll be happy to tell you after we've played you twice!! Seriously, Gylfi was probably a big fish in a small pool with us whilst the reverse would be true at Spurs. I'm not saying that our team tactics were based around him but he became our main play-maker and scored a few as well. That's not the case at Spurs where there are a lot more big name options and he's had to take his place in the pecking order. Maybe if AVB gave him the chance to be the main man in your midfield, he might start to blossom. Difficult to fathom, really. He certainly performed better for us than he is for you and it isn't as if the playing styles of our teams are dissimilar. We both like to get it on the floor and play football. Sorry I can't be more helpful but I'm sure some of the other lads on our board will come up with some good observations for you.
This is a riot . If all of the above fails to work you can try Ye Ol' USB connector commonly referred to as "boot-up-arse" in English but translates into Icelandic as USB.
Bap, I'll look for it on eBay now Haha, YV works although I'm sure you'd get the benefit of the doubt calling me Yid The big fish thing might be part of it, we've seen similar with Dempsey who took a little while to accept that he had greater defensive responsibility now and is not simply able to be our main attacking threat shooting when he likes. Sig looked a great player when I saw him at the Lane last season but we've not seen the kind of abillity to make a significant impact on us in attack so far but hopefully it's a case for him settling in as well as our team as a whole needing to play better.
Gylfi's in the wrong system, he only works in the Spanish system, they should have told you that before you payed the 10 Million, you could try changing the language settings in his BIOS, you need to hit the Del key at boot up! If you know nothing about the BIOS, it's the Basic Input Output system, all Swansea city players are fitted with one, trouble is that it's not backwards compatible with hoofball, (Not saying you play hoofball) but unless you have the right operating system on your field of play, the Gylifi will just get confused! The only solution I see is to do a Spurs firmware upgrade, though it's probably more true to say you need to look for an older version firmware for the Gylifi, though the early version firmware are not so advanced as the current firmware he's programed with, but it might be your best chance mate, back to basics aye! Let us now how the firmware downgrade goes, failing that, we'll just have to have him back, as the Gylifi works perfect in our advanced high tech system! All the best, hope I've helped...................... Ps Did I mention he's a fitted with Quad Core?? ........................
Ivor you are spot on. Here he was guarenteed to play 90 every week. Would take the free kicks the corners and was generally the go to man. Well now Spurs have 5 or 6 Gylfis. he produced the goods at reading and with us. When Hoffenheim were at they peak with a lot of quality and now at Spurs he has failed to produce. So i gree he needs to be in a smaller pond.
He had a bit of luck in the beginning for us and everything when his way but the last 5 games for us he was just another player who was nothing special.....Im glad he never chose us and went for the team who will pay him the most and spurs offered £50 more a month than liverpool offered and even then he came back to us to see if we were prepared to pay more than spurs and we rightly told him to fcuk off....He was at the right place at the right time with us thats all....
huge change in the jacks opinion here from last season, i was accused of heresy after saying i thought he couldnt maintain his level of performance and was a flash in the pan. you were all delirious when jenkins agreed a fee to sign him permanently. shows how fickle fans are, and 6 months in football is an age.......
I wouldn't believe all you read in the papers. The rumours were likely fuelled by bitter Liverpool fans who couldn't believe he'd ever sign for Tottenham for anything other than money.
I think the redtits are feeling neglected , I mean I've heard a rumour they're top of the Championship but nobodies noticed .
another good example of a fickle minded individual - when you were banned it was because you actually asked me to ban you because our board is rubbish - now you have a change of heart but i think we all know what would happen. bonymaen, yes that may be the case of a few jacks but certainly not you, you visit cardiff city forum and posted some of its content on our board, you're not fooling anyone
You may be missing the obvious - perhaps your Gylfi has a virus. ...or maybe he's just pining for the fjords.
they are always at the top of the championship at this time of the season so its nothing new....they go to pieces in the second half of the season that's their problem but at least they know they wont get relegated and will be able to try again next season....
