Must be a bored journo on twitter. We're struggling to bring in one striker let along two, so let's make things 200% harder for ourselves and sell one of our few remaining strikers. Caulkin is the only journo on twitter I would ever trust, anything Sunderland or Newcastle related he's usually bang on the mark.
Sunderland asking for bank guarantees before selling Gyan to Galatasaray or Trabzonspor at loss. Cost €15m, going for €6m + variables. #safc

So far if all is to be believed our succesfull business owner is about to pay 10 million for a player with no sell on value and take a substantial loss on one of his investments. Ha'way ... wake up and smell the coffee!
What a load of ****e. I am on twitter all the time and follow all the reliable sources and I have not heard any of this. Just think about it for a second, we spend and sell sensibly all summer and then we do something stupid on rhe last day???
Things like this happen on dead line day mate, it may seem silly but you may not have a choice Who else would you sell to pave way for a new striker?
But for less than half we paid for him after a decent first season .... would be total madness. Now if he was to go for nearer £20m and we get two top class strikers in then I wouldn't be too sad.
from @LukeEdwardsTele Luke Edwards twitter Spoke to a senior figure at club 2day & he said #safc have turned down a bid for Gyan from a Turkish club. That was this morning though.... from @SkyGraemeBailey Graeme Bailey twitter Reports of possible Asamoah Gyan sale have foundation but only if they push through deal for Crouch or other striker. #safc
