The Al Ain boss Cosmin Olaroiu claims Gyan will be at the club next season which means he has agreed a deal to leave Sunderland. Gyan was on a season-long loan deal from the English side but Al Ain were keen on holding on to the Ghana international after he massively impressed. Olaroiu has now revealed that Gyan has reached a deal which means he will quit Sunderland. âFrom what I know, Asamoah will continue with Al Ain next season,â Olaroiou. Ghana star Gyan scored 20 league goals in just 17 games.
I'd have scored 21 MM But, yes, good riddance to the pillock. I hope he and his money can spend lots of time together in the desert.
DID THIS ONE EARLIER MATE 3.5 million euros for gyan, .......oh realy Al Ain boss Cosmin Olaroiu added his weight to claims Asamoah Gyan will be at the club next season as he told The Boss’ fans to take pride from the fact the Ghanaian and strike partner Yasser Al Qahtani are keen to stay in the Garden City. Gyan and Al Qahtani were both signed on season-long loan deals and were instrumental in Al Ain securing a historic 10th Pro-League title. Ghana star Gyan scored 20 league goals in just 17 games, and while his Saudi team-mate took more time to settle in the UAE, he waded in with some crucial goals in the second half of the season after returning from injury. The Boss reportedly have a clause in Gyan’s contract allowing them to make his loan move from English Premier League side Sunderland permanent for €3.5 million (Dh16.15m), but Olaroiu revealed a long-term deal for Al Qahtani could prove more troublesome. “Both of them are very good players,” the Romanian said. “Not only this, they are also very good people. They help all the team, all the players with the attitude they have in games and in training. “And from what I know, Asamoah will continue with Al Ain next season. Yasser, we don’t know because it’s not in our hands, but it’s important they feel good here. They like playing for this team and this club should be proud that great players like that want to be here.” Al Ain will receive the trophy after their final league game of the season against Ajman on Saturday. The Boss hold a 12-point lead over second-place Al Nasr having cantered to a title that looked inevitable ever since they beat Al Jazira 3-1 in Abu Dhabi in December. Olaroiu though believes the title was won with victories over basement-boys Sharjah, Emirates and Dubai. “I don’t think the Jazira game was a key moment. We take each game by game, training by training. We don’t look forward, we just concentrate on the next game. “For me, the most important games were against Dubai, against Sharjah, against these teams was where the competition was won. If you look, we won against Sharjah, against Emirates. "You look at other teams, they didn’t do this. They may have won big games, derbies, but not these. We got maximum points against these lesser teams and it gave us a big advantage.” Winning the Pro-League has given Al Ain a place in the 2013 AFC Champions League. But with 10 months to go until the next edition gets underway, Olaroiu believes it is too early to start planning for the club’s return to Asia. He added: “It would be a big mistake to think now about the AFC Champions League, one year in football can make a big difference.” Meanwhile, the Pro League Committee has shifted Friday’s game between Al Ain and Ajman to Saturday (May 26), kick-off 6.15pm following a request from Al Ain, the new Pro-League champions. WHY THE **** WOULD WE TAKE SO MUCH OF A LOSS? GOT TO BE BULL****. http://www.sport360.com/article/al-a...moah-gyan-stay
