Gyan may stay in UAE

Their manager is hopeful that they will sign him on a permanent basis....

if that is the case, their interested, therefore do we rip them off majorly and look to get what we paid for him with an extra £5mil+ ?

or do we say piss off, keep him and try and get him back to PL standard ?


Personally i think playing over their for a year he will of lost whatever skill he had and will be useless in the PL

As proven in the African Cup of Nations, he isnt the player he once was....

Therefore I would say cash in for him, already made £6mil on him and money he has donated to our foundation

 

He did pretty well the the ACN - just dont let him take the penalites!

Depends on how much they offer us for him, we need at least 7 million just to get all our money back, but we would want to make a profit IMO.

 

If he is as vital as this article suggests, we could get quite a bit if you ask me

 

They are absolutely minted and he has a huge reputation, I'd say start the bidding at £20m+.

The manager of Al-Ain is hopeful he stays over there, not quite as hopefuly I am that he stays there.

 

He is worth what they are willing to pay but they will not pay over the odds. I'm guessing if Gyan want's to stay, as we can't match the wages, he would refuse to return etc and throw his dummy out the cot. I can't see any other club touching him? I'm not sure how long he has left on him contract but I'm guessing at most we would only break even with the deal. It would be interesting to know how he feels regarding SAFC's current rise under MON.

We have not paid anywhere near 13m for him as he hasn't been around long enough to trigger various clauses.

So sell him for anything above 10m

 

Sunderland urged to sell Gyan

Asamoah Gyan has been urged to quit Sunderland for good in the summer by his new club Al Ain.

The UAE side have Ghana’s Gyan on loan until June, after paying £6million.

Black Cats boss Martin O’Neill can get another £6m if he sanctions a permanent transfer for Gyan, who has made Al Ain into league leaders.

My first thought was, what a pisser it's only another £6m if he sanctions a permanent transfer
