......if twitter is to be believed! Garyalsmith (african football journo) "Asamoah Gyan has indeed signed for Al Ain, according to multiple reports." "The quotes and story are coming from GSN, which will hardly make up a story like this. Al Ain have not announced it on their site" "Gyan told GSN: "I'll continue to wear my favourite 3 jersey at Al Ain as I begin a new adventure but with #Safc still engrained on my heart" "I just got confirmation that Asamoah Gyan has indeed signed a one-year loan deal to Al Ain in UAE." Then OliverKayTimes retweeted this from an 'expert in football PR': "So funny that people really think this is just a rumour.Gyan is on his way to Dubai as we speak to do a deal with Al-Ain FC.#breakingnews" We wouldn't be that thick surely?? All a load of bull if you ask me but these are the tweets i'm seeing... on sky sports Sunderland have agreed to loan Asamoah Gyan to UAE club Al-Ain, according to skysports.com. The 25-year-old was the subject of interest this summer and was strongly linked with Tottenham, Galatasaray and Marseille before the transfer window in Europe shut. It seemed that Gyan would remain with Sunderland, but skysports.com are now reporting he is set for a loan move away from the club. Sunderland have agreed to let Gyan go to Al-Ain, who will pay an undisclosed fee to take him for the season. The Black Cats and Al-Ain are both expected to announce the deal on Saturday, with Gyan having already agreed personal terms.
This looks real don't it. The loan fee better be £5million plus, and he can get ****ed, forget Bent going to Villa, this is purely financial (if confirmed). That's the official website though, and he's in the shirt. **OFFICIAL< ON SAFC>COM***
on sky sports, bbc etc. looks like you'll have bendtner and campbell up front for you this season... and gyan was amazing, don't know why he has gone there...
Just been on SSN, for ****s sake, what a stupid ****, why would he want to go there. I am still not 100% its true until SAFC release something though. Edit....FUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCKKKKKKK What a two faced arsehole, sell the **** in January. Might be hard to sell him then actually as he will be off to the ACN. Just have no respect anymore for teh modern footballer, what a load of **** they spout.
http://www.safc.com/news/20110910/gyan-to-leave-sunderland-for-al-ain_2256213_2446604 didnt see this coming, esp after the window hs shut.
He is a ****ing money grabbing ****. He will never amount to anything with a pea heart like his. I'm quite happy that the moron has left.... It may even galvanise the squad.
Didn't see this thread, what a ****ing sickener! I'm sorry letting our better players drift away at the beginning of a season is not the way forward. We need to be showing ambition not treading water. Our main striker is now a loanee, he does well, goes elsewhere and we are back to square one. Stelling has just confirmed it. They tried to get Gyan on permanent.
