Gyan will not force Sunderland exit
    ESPNsoccernet staff

Asamoah Gyan says it is up to Sunderland to decide whether he will be leaving the club this summer.

Gyan, 25, has been linked with a number of clubs around Europe, but manager Steve Bruce has warned it will take a "wonder bid" to prise the Ghana striker away from the Stadium of Light.

Tottenham are said to be favourites from the forward's signature, although any bid would likely be reliant upon the sale of Robbie Keane first.

Gyan, who has three years remaining on his contract, has now said there have been no firm offers for his services and that he is not looking to move on.

"Now I am a player of Sunderland and so far there is nothing concrete - it's just rumours," he told GHANAsoccernet.

"I am happy at Sunderland but the people from Sunderland would have to decide whether I'm leaving or staying."

We won't get a better player than Gyan so don't sell at all.
