Anyone listen to Gwilym doing the Radio Humberside sports bulletin at 1.05pm today ? Celtic are in Europa League action tonight playing Salzburg in Australia. No wonder these teams struggle when they have to play a league game 3 days after a Europa League away trip.

Gwilym Llloyd has to be the most gormless inarticulate presenter in the history of radio broadcasting. How the hell he got and keeps a job there really beggars belief!
Your right there, I think he only get's tolerated because he does the Rugby, and if they are going to keep him, he should just cover this and nothing else.
I thought I'd put in the post that they normally play in their domestic league 3 days after the Europa game ? I see that after their home game against Salzburg they get a 9 day rest before their next domestic league game, surely it would have made more sense to have the 9 day rest after their trip down under ? Madness.
Should not be allowed anywhere near any other sport than Rugby League. If he wants to balls that up that's up to him but I find it pretty unacceptable that an employee of the BBC should be allowed to present general sports bulletins with no preparation and full of mistakes on nearly each and every occasion he's on. Only last week he mentioned Hull City game against WHU as taking place on Saturday and as for pronunciations i can't forget his attempt at Essex cricketer Ryan Tendoeschate as Ten does Chatty !!.
I've actually listened to it again on the Radio Humberside website. He actually says that in the Europa League this evening Everton are at home to Wolfsburg and also this evening Everton are in Australia playing Salzburg. I'm glad we got knocked out of the Europa League, I don't think our squad would have been able to cope with this.
I've got a mate who is a lot more into Rugby than I am who says that Gwilym is pretty good on the rugby commentaries, maybe he's better not on the sportsdesk stuff.
Can't stand him. Constantly talks over people. Always soooo right. I'd call him amateurish but that wouldn't be fair on amateur radio presenters. Shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a microphone.
