Anyone else noticed how good Brad Guzan has been for Villa this season? - especially playing in front of an inexperienced (and often poor) defence. Interesting when you think of the Guzan vs Mannone threads last year (and where is Vito, still warming the bench at Arsenal - if he's lucky, )

Guzan has performed well in several games this season ,often making top class saves .He appears more at home than Mannone at the top level. However I always felt more relaxed when Mannone was in our goal than when Guzan had the gloves. I'm not sure Stockdale is the answer for our permanent keeper though he's too "hit and Miss".

There is a difference between Arsenal and Villa though. However, Given is arguably better than Arsenal's keepers, so....

Guzan was incredible for US v Mexico in World Cup qualifier last week. Score was 0-0 thanks to him and CH Omar Gonzalez. Mexico totally dominated. 5 corners in last two minutes of injury time. Brad was unbeatable. Huge improvement from last year.
