Odds on big guus have dropped dramatically overnight. Does anyone think that if he is appointed, him leaving the Dutch job has something to do with big nige getting the boot?
I don't think so, but tbh who knows. I doubt that they would have sacked Pearson on the assumption that Hiddink would be interested in taking over here. Think he left Netherlands for footballing reasons, they are third in their group which really is unacceptable given who they have in their squad. Would he be interested in Leicester? Maybe if he wants a crack at a permanent job in the premier league, i think his record since Chelsea hasn't been brilliant, so maybe we'd be his best opportunity at managing here. I for one would welcome this, as hes managed top tier clubs before with relative success and im sure his objective would be a more comfortable season, avoiding a relegation scrap, which should be a step down in his usual club objectives of trophies and titles.
