Guus Hiddink has resigned as manager of Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala. The Dutch former Chelsea boss, 66, had signed a new contract at the club last month. Former Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen replaces Hiddink as manager. So who here would take Hiddink as manager of Arsenal should Wenger step down?
Never thought about Barca, they do have a vacant position and he'll probably be a stop gap until they find someone younger or Barca affiliated...
aparently AVB is the bookies favourites for barca according to our oh so reliable media...so maybe gus is spurs bound
I don't think Hiddink stepping down has anything to do with the Barca job being available. I saw on ESPN press pass that he pushed a ref and is going to get a lengthy ban because of it. Things didn't go well for him with Anzhi last season, think he is just fed up of Russian football.
