Very disappointed about the result today, we just do not learn from our mistakes. We can't defend set-pieces for a toffee and keep letting go precious points when we have been in the lead. Another frustrating point is I can only see this getting worse, our next 4 games are Everton, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City and only one of those games is at home. Can't see us getting anything from the away games and if we mess up against Liverpool there is going to be lots of pressure on Brucie. We were poor in the centre today both Muntari and Henderson were clumsy and the latter really should be dropped or 'rested'. Gyan and sess I felt were excellent but I don't think this formation works for us, we never have enough support up in attack and however well Gyan does holding the ball up the midfield seem to mess things up. We desperatly need Welbeck and Cattermole back and one or two strikers in the summer. Rant over.
sess is looking a bit over-rated to me, and you can see why Muntari was not getting a game at Milan. Tough times ahead, though after that tough run, we have an easy run in where we should pick up plenty of points. We need Wellbeck and Catts back quick, and get Henderson out of the centre and back on the wing. Today - Gordon, Onuha, Henderson, muntari, Steed, Sess were all ****e. Lol Bart
Possibly a Bit early to be rating Sess, as the pace of the premier league takes a bit of getting use to, he will improve....at least he didn't break the bank, but sadly, you are spot on " Tough times ahead " and with your last comment..... KTF
we have 2 games between now and Sunday 20th March when we play Liverpool - we ought to back to full strength (barring Meyler) by then
I thought Sess looked class at times... maybe you've all been spoilt over the years with watching scintillating Sunderland players week in week out (I only get to a few matches a year normally).
