Hiya guys Well it looks like we have lost Rodgers to a sub standard Liverpool. The grass is not greener up there he will regret this. Hope u people are good by the way.

I'm really disappointed - not just for us (we now need to get a new manager and stabalise so we don't plummet) but I think Brendan is making a bad career move. He won't be able to get his style going there and will be out if they don't get top 4 next year, which is a big ask.

So much for "I want to build a career not destroy it" when he was touted for Chelsea. I think he's got more of an uphill task at a poor Liverpool with an equally intolerant exec.

We'll move onwards and upwards. Time to get the right person in for this season and achieve our target of 17th and above for next season.

Jager? Is that the real you?

Delighted to see you on here fella - long time no speak. Hope you are well.

Not my business, but you guys will be fine regardless of BR's possible departure. You have a footballing ethos down there these days and I'm sure the next guy will find easy to keep going.

I'll hop off back to Legoland now.<ok>

Bit gutted about this but as long as there is a term in the contract saying that for at least 12 months he can't poach any of our players (saw this on the Liverpool board, supposedly Benitez had one put in) and the Siggy deal still goes through then he can **** off. Grass wasn't greener last time and hopefully it wont be this time...which means he will be out of a job as soon as things look like they are going tits up and no one will want the little turncoat bastard then!!! As has been pointed out on the Liverpool board, there is a different mind set at Liverpool. He lost three on a bounce here and it was all ok as we were newly promoted and the rest off the season we had been playing really well....he could go a couple of games unbeaten up there and if he even draws 3 games on the bounce 'the wheels will be coming off' and he will be instantly under pressure...where waxing lyrical with the press will get you nowhere!! Hate to sound vindictive but I hope it all goes tits up for him!!

Hiya Jager !! good to hear from you <ok>

Devasted for the team not so much for him, it gives us major headaches in pre-season and in signing players that we may have already had contact with, its back to the drawing board in the hardest ****ing league in the world and i aint happy about it !!

I dont blame him for taking the job though. We always say as fans if a really big club comes in for any of our players/staff we would not hold a grudge against them, well thats what has happened folks !!

Next manager for me ...Ian hollaway!! plays the same, comes cheap, wont apeal to Man utd,Chelsea or spurs (not for a few seasons) and has experience in the prem league, has also taken time out to study the game and has a great ambition to improve as a coach, will get on great with the fans too.
He was very unlucky to get relegated with a team that was not as good as ours, going down on the last day of the season when the points total was normally enough for survival.
He will also have more money to play with at the Swans than he did at Blackpool, he has done well with them this season too, being unlucky to lose out to west ham.

I got no problems with having this guy <ok>

Good shout re Holloway,Norway. He also admires The Swans' way of playing, having said as much on many occasions.

    Yes,he'll do,but what about Dobbie? <whistle>

Really feel for you guys - reminds me of when Martin O'Neil left us to manage Celtic ... you need the right man to follow - we got Peter Taylor and it was a calamitous disaster ...

Gutted !! where is the effing loyalty these days, how many times do we have to keep reinventing ourselves !?
Brendan has started a job here that he hasnt finished (premier league stability)and i feel hugely dissapointed that he has jumped ship at such a critical point in our development. jobs like the Pool one will come again so it seems to me that he hasnt learned the lessons from the Watford - I wish him all the best cos of the superb job he has done but I wont be shedding tears if or when it all goes horribly wrong up there.
Brendan- cheers for the good times, you were maybe the best we ever had, you were a JACK through and through and you will be a tough act to follow......

........... Huw, get on the phone to Guardiola!!

overated - nonsense! in British football he is a revolutionary figure, treading new ground where even Martinez didnt go ....but if it makes you feel better!

poor sense of loyalty though and that may bring him down - Liverpool : too much too soon

Revolutionary ??? are you sure about that ?? didnt look very revolutionary when Wolves were pasting us ..<laugh>
and i didnt see him being very clever at all when Norwich were on the field.
Lets not start blowing sunshine up his ass, he did well here and i dont hate him for taking the Liverpool job,its massive !! but there are alot of flaws in his game and they will be exposed at a bigger club, a better coach than bobby but ive yet to see him revolutionize anything, including the Swans he evolved them he didnt create them <ok>
