I pretty much echo what's been said. It's good to watch a team play attacking football no matter who they're up against. You should be able to keep most your squad and challenge again next year though.

Blackpool FC have been a credit to the premiership. Gutted you went down as I was looking forward to revisiting Blackpool next season so will put that on hold for a year.

 

Blackpool's PL journey was special. You made a lot of friends and stayed too short a time with us. Venture into next season with the same spirit and admirable commitment and your absence will be brief.

Players who would never have dared to dream of plying their trade at the top of the tree provided wonderful, exciting attacking football with stout hearts. It was wonderful to watch and I'm so sorry that you fell at the final hurdle. You can come straight back. No, you will come straight back.

Just like to add my regrets that you couldn't hold out against the champions in the last 20 minutes.
You did yourselves proud and it was great to see a manager who got his team to play to his principles,entertainment.

Ok guys ... its had a bit of time to sink in ..... now you look forward to try like hell to get back to the premiership ....... things ain't as bad as they first seem ..... some good teams in the Championship ....... just not the media coverage. Like Hull before you .... some adjustments but its an interesting league.

I was gutted you went down. But I was disappointed with Olly in the last few weeks. When he said the Premiership wanted him to go down, I thought he was out of order. He is one of many managers the Premiership targets. I would not change him, but the Blackpool romance lowered in the last month...

Good Luck though... The Championship is the best anyway!!

 

Blackpool were quality last season and a joy to watch. Deffinetly the type of approach to take to the Premier League.

You will never see them up there again because all there players want to leave and there loyal fans are supporting preston now (Just look how busy there boards are) LOL.

 

The Championship is by far the best league in the country for excitement and entertainment. But the PL is where all the big money and attention is.
