Shame for both. I'd to have seen Guthrie challenging for a place in team as i still think he's brings alot when he's on, end of the season he was one of our best players. Ferguson is a big shame, hoped for him making alot of substitute appearances early on in the season when teams are tired late on into games as he can definitely stretch the defence out and bring gaps for the likes of Cabaye and HBA

it's because he's being thrust into 1st team football before his body has fully developed, there is a massive increase in the likelyhood of injury by doing this

<laugh> I love the end of the article

The invasion came in the 56th minute when substitute Sammy Ameobi, brother of Shola, scored.
A popular ditty among Newcastle's travelling support is 'if Shola scores, we're on the pitch' (or something similar) and the 6,183 Newcastle fans in a crowd of 9,700 switched it to the younger brother.

Within seconds, Darlington's Jake Simpson gave the ball to Ameobi who drilled it past Darlo keeper Deale Chamberlain.

Ben Arfa looked a bit of the pace tonight i though good shooting, but seems to hang onto the ball for far too long when he should just play it. Maybe just a lack of sharpness, Cabaye was the top man tonight!!

That's the way he plays. That's what he was like against Everton and B'Pool. He could genuinely separate himself from the Young, N'Zogbia (etc) class if he learns to play it a second earlier
