I got my first season ticket back when Reid was the manager of Sunderland. They were great days, I remember us playing some great football. Since Reid its been a roller coaster ride but I have never been happy with our managers for one reason or another.

To me Gus Poyet is the first manager we have had since Reid who known tactics and how to play football and beat sides. Lets face it almost non of the players are Gus's players.

Alonso looks a great signing and if Bridcut and other Poyet signings do as well as this lad then we have no worries.

We have the right man now, I really hope Short supports him financially so we can bring in the quality we need to move onwards and upwards.

It's bizarre to be saying that as we sit at the bottom of the league but I agree. I have been very impressed with Gus. He has me scratching my head at times with selections but he tends to get it right.

I agreed with giacc' coming off. Thought he was getting caught out. I said to take him off and put Colback on just before uniteds goal. He brought Johnson on and he made a massive difference. He got it right again.

    Love Gus.

Hope he remains here no matter what, as once the team is his, it will prosper.

Funny, the likes of Borini & Giacc, the more genuinely talented players in the squad, seem to be blossoming under him.

The ****e, well, you can't polish a turd, but that's for another day.

The man is a breath of fresh air. Tactically astute and oozes quality, he will keep us up and take us to Wembley.

    There, I've said it. :)
