Speaks highly of the club and Ellis Short. Asked about gremlins in the club. He referred to transfer policy. Had 16 players leave the club. Lost all full backs etc. Said some were his decisions some were players like Bardsley, Colback, Ki and Borini. He basically said it was like starting again and you start behind other teams. He finds it harder to watch us now as a fan as he gets more nervous. He said watching the Game against Everton he wanted to watch but didn5 want to watch at the same time. Exactly how I felt.

Hardest last hour of any game for a long time, until the second went in! Was bouncing about in the local like an epileptic kangaroo!

He came across about the whole situation very well. Not bitter at all.

Maybe Mr Bruce should take some notes.

Have a lot of time for Gus I think he'll do well in management. Gave me some of the best memories I have following the lads and for that I'll buy him a pint next time I see him in the Wheatsheaf!

Truly dreadful manager. Amongst the worst I've seen.

That's unfair, you've surely seen some howlers! He could be very good with a bit more experience, the job was a very hard one for him at such an early stage of his career.

If everything is right I think he'd do well at the right club. His lack of adaptability and the inability to roll his sleeves up was his biggest problem, thinking we could pass the ball to safety with this squad was bordering on delusional imo.

There's a good manager in there, just at a club like Brighton or Wigan. Perennial underdogs.

In recent years Bruce and Keane were marginally better. MoN on a par and the mad Italian never got the chance because he was too mad.

In my eyes he was incompetent as Howard Wilkinson but a massively egotistical **** to boot.

    The worst I've seen.

Couldn't see past the end of his beak mate. Had his philosophy, which he'd clearly pulled out of his arse, so deeply on his mind that we wouldn't attack and couldn't defend.

    An appalling manager.

Like I said right league and right club he'll flourish. Maybe he should consider a job in south america where his philosophy suits. One thing is for certain, thinking he could play a slow build up game in the premiership proves he'll never ever be a successful premier league manager.

I think that's the key mate. He doesn't understand English football. Weird considering he played here.

Also wherever he goes he's going to need to show more attacking intent.

Absolutely, He needs a league where teams polity take turns at attacks giving him time to build. We tend to tackle in this country, not just wait for opponents to lose the ball for their own doing like they do S.America.

    We're well shot mate.
