Match Day Thread Gumps Chairboys v FGR 2nd Aug 17

The Chairboys return to Adams Park after Tuesday evenings shambolic defending and its FGR who are the visiting AP for their first ever visit and they must be relishing stepping our to face a team who shipped at least 2 goals in all 6 of their games this season, 17 goals conceded in total which is quite remarkable considering there has only been 26 shots on target, do we actually have anyone between the sticks or are we playing rush goalie.
With new signings added to the squad this week changes are likely but Scott Brown will start in his special keepers kit which has been designed so the ball never goes near it.
I'm taking a break from all the excitement this weekend and off to the seaside but I am hoping for a return to boring football and 1-0 to the Wanderers

 

This will be my first game of the new season plenty of goals expected but which team will come out on top is anybody's guess

You could just keep betting on the opposition to score 2+ goals (I think that means 2 or more but not sure)

Played really well for 40mins then half time happened. The defensive problems are still there we got away with it a little bit today. We are always looking for the Beast from goal kicks no mixing it up. We gave away too many free kicks just outside the box including one in the the first 45secs they hit the post from one which then went in front of the goal. Jacobson would have had hat trick playing if he played for Forest Green today. Brown dropped the ball a dolly of a cross which he got away with. There goal could have been handball. We really did not look like scoring in the second half. Whatever Ainsworth said at half-time did not help at all. If I remember Forest Green were 3 down at Yeovil & won 4-3

 

Just seen the goals and watching The Beast running at pace towards the goal that led our 3rd goal by O'Nien was hilarious i didn't think he had it in him. How the hell their goal was given it was clearly a push on El-Abd?
