'Guly's struggle to persuade former boss Nigel Adkins and current incumbent Mauricio Pochettino to play him in the Premier League has not been helped by his goal drought which stretches back to January 2012.'

Sounds like he would fit right in

Oh no. You're competing with the ideal role model for a Football Club in Millwall. You're in a lose/lose situation:

    1) You sign him and you are then accused of spending your way to success by TC.
    2) Millwall sign him and TC then dubs you as a 'tinpot' Club.

    Good luck <ok>

Well the general impression from everyone of Leicester allegiance on this Forum is that you need an anchoring midfielder. The nasty, 'does the dirty work' type midfielder. Guly do Prado is the Polar opposite.

Unless of course a certain Mr. King may be leaving for pastures new... <whistle>

(And before you say anything, I'm not implying that he's coming to Hull <ok>)

He did alright in the Championship if I remember correctly. Not the most inspiring signing, but I'd probably take him.

In place of who? We have enough strikers who can score 10 in a season.

Strikers? Apart from Wood and Nugent I wouldnt put money on any of them getting double figures unless you include Beckford

Waghorn scored 12 here when he was on loan but other then that his best is 4

Jamie Vardy got 5 last year and Futacs got 2

Yeah we have other players like King, Knockaert and Gallagher who are capable of getting 10+ but no one else

I'd back Schlupp to score more than 10 if he is given enough starts - got 3 from 6 when played as a striker last back end.

I dont think he offers enough as a striker to warrant enough starts. I think Schlupp's best position is a winger.

We'll have to disagree on that .. the kid has goals in him, not least in the air which was a pleasant surprise for me last season ... he's quick, strong, and has an eye for goal as he showed through the youth ranks where he was scoring for fun.

I think Schlupp's one of the few players at our club who is actually suited to the 'Inside Forward' type position in a 4-3-3 formation. We've played Waghorn, Nugent and Wood in that position last season, all to very limited effect, but I think for both Schlupp and Knockaert, it's probably the position where they're are most effective.

I would wager that his agent has thrown our name in the ring as it will guarantee him an extra £10k per week <ok>

    No i meant "our"as in Millwall's <doh>

Leicester after him - his agent knew that Wood joined you because you offered £10k per week extra, and is jumping on the bandwagon - lets face it, what agent wouldn't?
