Morning all from a snowy SW6, I remember thinking when Gulfi Sigurdssen left Reading that we had missed out on an excellent play making midfielder that would have learnt a lot from working with Papa Smurf. I has been snapped up on loan I think by Swansea and he seems to be an immensly talented footballer. He scored yesterday and set up the winner as well. He has a proper engine on him and an ability to see the killer pass. Would be an amazing signing in the summer if we could sneak in there ahead of Swansea. I think he is on loan from Hoffenheim. COYW
It's well worth a try, but he'll be hard to get from Swansea if they can afford a permanent transfer. He knows Rogers well from their time together at Reading, so from the player's point of view there are lots reasons to prefer them to us. That doesn't mean it's impossible for us to sign him, but we might face an uphill struggle.
