Howdy from a tiger! I was just wondering what any of you lot thought of Peter Gulacsi? Have any of you actually seen him play? And do any of you know about any details of the loan agreement? He seems hugely dodgy to me, doesn't catch or command his area and tends to push the ball straight at the opposition striker Who's two yards out from goal.

I think the term 'rough diamond' can be applied to gulacsi. Given game time I think he could be a top prem keeper imho but atm he's still quite raw, hence the loan agreement. Plus he was a must buy in FM11 :p

I see he was dropped at the weekend following a poor display against Leeds...

The Leeds game aside how has he performed overall?

I don't know much about him, having only seen him play a handful of times. That's what this loan deal is for, finding out how he performs playing in front of a decent crowd week in week out rather than just a handful of spectators at reserve games.

He looked a good keeper in the reserve games I've seen and had ironed out some earlier mistake in his game.

Yeah he was dropped after gifting them two goals.

He's looked flappy and generally not very good. He's made a couple of decent saves but he looks like one of these keepers who look to punch/palm the ball out as opposed to catching it which costs us dearly. I don't really rate him but I have only seen him play a couple of times.

We'll take him back and do a swap for Brad Jones if you like?

I think I'd rather have Brad Jones than Gulacsi. The guy doesn't exactly seem confident and I think Jones after a couple of games under his belt would do rather well in this league.

Jones is rubbish, he was dropped as second choice keeper in favour of Gulacsi.

gulasci is basing his game on reina..... so if you play a high line he'll sweep up... if he's getting battered about of course a young lad will drop a few.

up to you but if you guys mistreat ala ayala you won't get the benefit... simple.

he's there to play and improve
