This board has gone from general questionable chat about football from people with very limited knowledge to the take the piss out of everyone and anyone and now it has morphed once more into the music board. This thread is the place you can post that song that you have no idea why you like it, it goes against all your usual tastes, it might even be embarrassing like everyone who has come out on the ABBA and Beatles thread by admitting they like them. My personal music taste involves someone chatting about ho's, guns and drugs over a perky beat and I rarely sway from it, so why the **** can't I stop listening to the first 50 seconds or so of this?
I like the girls on it... I feel no guilt about saying I love the band Pink Martini. I know it's not a cool band... But still. (They're very ecclectic jazz/pop/swing fusion mini orchestra taking inspiration from songs all around the world) Almost every song of theirs is completely different style to any other. What I do feel guilty about is admitting this is one of my favourites. (My kids all love it too and sing along in faux Japanese with me in my car) Less cheesy, Una Notte a Napoli,by them is probably one of my all-time favorite songs.
