Im pleading Guilty - of buying tickets for saturday having pledged to stick to away games until the goons have gone.

Proof that they know they can milk even the most stubborn fan, regardless of the price.

But in my defence, having dragged my 2 lads (15 and 13) around to the likes of Cheltenham, Colchester, Hartlepool, Bournemouth, Rushden etc etc for years, I think they deserve not to miss their first ever QPR PREMIER LEAGUE game of their lives, dont they?

My punishment going to be c.£200 the day is going to cost me.

Suspect I wont be alone

Don't feel guilty Jalfrezi, you are supporting the R's after all.
I'm the same, I have been bringing my lad since he was 8 (he's 12 now),
but he has kept me company on many away games prior to that.
I did make the decision not to renew, but thought sod it, I've been coming to Loftus road
since the 70's as a wee bairn myself, so I did wait until the last day to renew(some sort of protest!)
In my heart of hearts, I guess I always knew I would renew my ST.

You shouldn't feel guilty at all. You've earn't it and I'm sure it will be worth it regardless of the result.

Whilst I know some have decided to stay away, as far as I'm aware there's never been a call by anyone from this or any other board, to seriously boycott the club (beyond merchandise). A principled boycott just wouldn't work anyway for many reasons. Makes perfect sense to go to as many games as you can afford / get tickets for.

I'm certainly going to the Bolton game, as is another of our Goons Out brigade - who can and will no doubt speak for himself. As long as there's a chance of tickets, wouldn't have it any other way.

Facts are, we all support them Rs regardless of the owners' contempt for us, on the basis that we'll be around a lot longer than the Goons, the manager, the players and the staff.

End of the day, we R QPR... and reserve the right to not only attend games BUT also, as customers, to complain if aspects of the club's approach doesn't suit. (I know some fans decry such behaviour as 'disloyal' but that's just weird... it's called feedback in conventional markets!)

Jalf, the only thing you should feel guilty about is calling your sons 15 and 13. They're girls names.

I don't think you've got anything to feel guilty about Jalf, except the £200! I'd take my sons but I'm too mean.
Hi Woody - hope you're dodging the riots

Good to hear from you woody. Meeting a mate tonight to plan ticket buying for the next few games. Never got membership so could be tricky, but now the season has arrived I want to be there.

There are seven of us dedicated to going to the away games this year.Made this point already on here but those ****s aren't getting any more of my money.Lets take as many as we can on the road and turn places like Anfield and Old Trafford into bigger Loftus Roads.

Yeah, I’m going too. I can’t see me getting to many matches this season (times are tough), but I could not miss out on our first back in the Premier League. I would say “Let’s boycott the match day programme”, but it would be hypocritical, I’ll be buying one!

Q.P.R. is my club. Not Briatore’s, not Ecclestone’s, certainly not Paladini’s, not even Mittal’s, it is mine and yours. I’m going to cheer on my team come what may.

However, as I seem to be turning into a revolutionary, I’m going to also voice my discontent. I think the “Rodneee, Rodneee” chant will be perfect. I must admit that with what has been going on in London of late, I’m unsure about the planned protest from the Facebook group, especially as their list of complaints doesn’t dovetail that closely with mine. I know we are not a radical bunch, but there are always some idiots. Can some (obviously Northolt!!) look it up again on Facebook and see if it is still on?

Nothing to feel guilty for mate!! I promised my 2 sons season tickets if we went up (we were members last season) and, although they set me back 1,500 smackers there was no way I was going back on that promise, as much as I begrudge the money going to Tango and Cash!! Have a great day!!
