Fair enough but we have managed without Suarez and without Gerrard in the past but he's right that the next few games are important.

we have some ****ty away fixtures coming up with the injuries we have, but we will see what the squad is made of i guess.

just hope not too much damage is done and we can get to jan window in a relatively good position league wise, be amazed if we are still 2nd.

I think we are actually playing worse as a team than the end of last year, but Sturridge and Suarez' form have really lifted us

At home though we seem to be firing away, which is an important step.....

Unfortunately we are on the road to our rivals all throughout December! <laugh>

It's a tough month. It's important that the team doesn't get demoralised by a string of bad results.
If those games were scattered more evenly, defeats would be more acceptable, but if we lost three out of the next four, it could have a devastating effect on confidence.
If it wasn't for the injuries, I'd be quite upbeat about our chances, but with a number of key players out I think we just need to dig in and get some results.

I still won't go against us in the prediction league, though.:)

YOu know, of those three games away, the one I feel pretty good about is City away. For some reason, we always come into that game as underdogs and should get stomped out, yet each team we not only get something out of the game, but normally the better team. It might all change this year but the past few seasons we have seen a no fear factor when we go there.

Well I've decided I'm going to be deluded and say we'll be brilliant in December and cement our 2nd place

    Agreed.
I would take 3 draws from next 3 away games or a win and two defeats. I think we can get something out of spuds game and with Chelsea's defence as leaky as ours anything could happen in that one. City is one to hide under the duvet and hope for the best. Hopefully, with our home form being really good the Cardiff game should ease things a bit.

I will take 6 points out of the next 12. I don't really care how those points are achieved. However if we can draw all of our away games we are sending a clear message to our rivals that we can cope with them even when we have key injuries. For that to happen though we really need Allen and Alberto to step up. Anything above 6 points and I'm in dreamland. Anything below 6 points is not fatal but does constitute a blow

Lol, as you know Page our odds are purely statistical, they simply advertise them in red white and blue or green white and gold to attract the punter.....

look ballgue didn't say anything bad about us. i've only said the same.. however the almost praise of everton who despite losing only once have drawn as many as won (= determines thier position) I think sides who draw too many don't get far.

Better to win one lose one than draw 2... that kind of thing.

as for pelligrini... no its not just players thats utter balls. they can't play away. at home they are mighty. away.. they are nearly worse than us!

as for moyes.. why is he forgiven awful performances too. why are the comments on the "rich" clubs centred about buying thier way out of trouble while we will be put in our place by 3 away games?

I would have to say moyes has utterly failed so far and has made utd a shadow, he's over trained RVP by his own admission, the guy was played too long last weekend for nothing, only back form injury... he keeps chopping and changing and the "confidence players" at utd have zero confidence.

And sadly out of the top 4 imo. Where we will stay the rest of the season.
