Guilfoyle has allowed PAFC to register their new signings with the Football League.

Probably the most positive sign that Argyle are coming through administration soon.

Encouraging signs also that Peter Reid will be offering more contracts when he has spoken to players agents and soughted out the small print.

I see the squad numbers have now been published. It's taking shape but I'm seriously concerned about the lack of strikers. Tom Hitchcock is the only serious option and he has very little experience. I think Torres may be surplus to requirements at Chelsea. Do you think we could arrange a loan deal?

    The Spanish Fallon not thanks!!

I was looking at the squad earlier and back seems pretty solid and has cover, central midfield OK but wide, especially left and upfront very light and no cover. Still hopefully Lord Reid has something up his sleeve. No spot for JHP in the squad list either has he gone and I missed it?

That's a weird one Jan. Firstly had to think who JHP was but getting typers cramp Jed Harper-Penman is under contract 'til June 2012 and is listed on the greensonscreen website as squad number zero.

To be fair after seeing our young striker Jared Simms play in pre-season i rate him more than Jed Harper Penman anyway.

15 players - I suppose money can be saved on a smaller bus but somebody will have to make sure all DVD's are 15 rated or lower.

Only thing I can think is with the squad limit set at 20 due to admin then perhaps Sir PR has a few more options lined up and doesn´t want to commit yet, not seem Simms play but have heard a few speak well of him still need that older head up front though I think.

Distant what do you mean bus!!!!

They are having a car pool between the parents and a happy meal at MacD on the way back, whole trip for under twenty quid and we still had to beg that from the Taveners!

    Good point.

It will be murder on some of the longer trips, Morecombe away for example, the right back and left midfielder fidgeting on their booster seats, feeling sick and asking "Are we there yet?" from Taunton services onwards.

Someone was asking for new Argyle songs. "The wheels on the bus........."
