He does talk a lot of sense about football, that is true, might be an appointment that payed off. On the debit side however he has had no managerial experience, and it does not allways pay, to go down the sentimentality route.
Two good reasons why I'd like to see Matt Holland manage: 1) He can't do a lot worse than we have in recent seasons. And more importantly: 2) It'd get him off the telly. Thankfully, up here in Yorkshire I dont feel obliged to watch Late Kick Off East.
