It has been a remarkable season statistically that despite the notable peaks and troughs, our second encounters v sides in the championship have yielded very similar results to our first encounters Won-won Barnsley, Leicester, Southampton, Millwall, Lost-lost Brighton, Leeds, Reading, Blackpool, Ipswich, Cardiff, Peterboro, Drew-drew Portsmouth, West Ham Improved Draw/Win or Lose /Draw Crystal Palace, Doncaster ,Nottm Forest, Birmingham, Derby, Middlesboro, Deteriorated Draw/Lose Watford, Hull but not once have we had a win/lose or lose/win which is the norm.... oh boolcks... forgot Coventry- why did they have to upset my theory... Anyway undetered, and determined to make the top 4- it must be Burnley 1 Bristol City 2 (Stead, Adomah) Hope it is not a repeat of our encounter with Burnley on the last day of the season when they went up by the play-offs and we lost 4-0. Incidentally in 3 of our 5 seasons in the championship our last game of the season was against the team who eventually won promotion through the play-offs Hull City 2008 - choke Burnley 2009 - lost 4-0 away - promoted through play-off Blackpool 2010 - drew 1-1 away -promoted through play-off Hull City 2011- won 3-0 home..
