I guess there was only one possible outcome when the team which has scored the most goals away, visit the team which has conceded the most goals at home, and haven't kept a clean sheet all season... BRISTOL CITY 2 WATFORD 0 scorers Cunningham and Anderson attendance 13,586 and congratulations Shiny the sole predictor of 2-0....made his prediction with 20 minutes to spare (10 points) but the scorers threw most with ROD and Massive, the only ones to nominate Paul Anderson (5 points) attendance guesses for the first time this season were nearly all below the 13,586. premorbust at 13,679 (+93) was the closest 5 points: Caldicot CiderRed at 13,750 (+164) 4 points : brookksyboy at 13,421 (-165) 3 points: Red Robin 13,340 (-246) 2 points and algenon at 13,247 (-339) 1 point.......... and that 1 point for algenon takes him back to number 1 spot, over redmaid, and closing in to the leaders RedorDead now only 3 points behind algenon............... and Shiny's 2-0 forecast moves him back into the play-off place......... but the real winners on Tuesday night were Bristol City- all of which leaves the league table thus...... ........................prev pts.....BC v Wat.....scorer.....gate.......total pts algenon............ .127..............1..............0............1............129 redmaid..............127.............1..............0.............0............128 RedorDead..........120.............1..............5.............0............126 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Massive..............117..............0.............5.............0............122 Red robin............112..............1.............0.............2............115 wiz......................97..............1.............0.............0.............98 Shiny...................88..............10........ ...0............0.............98 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- manxrobin............93...............0............0............0..............93 Robin Unreliant......92...............0............0..... ......0.............92 Supcon.................77..............1.............0............0.............78 Ashton matt..........77.........................................................77 brooksyboy...........73...............0.............0............3............76 smhbcfc...............74...............0.............0............0............74 johngalley.............73...............0.............0...........0.............73 BCFC Red..............65..............1..............0...........0.............66 premorbust.............61.............0............ .0...........5.............66 tiger-emyrs-wolf......53.............1.............0............0............54 ciderup...................50...................... ............................... 50 Bright Red Rickster...40............0..............0............0............40 banksy...................36....................... ...............................36 Caldicot Cider Red....35............0..............0.............4...........39 Lan Lodger...............33........................... ..........................33 wings-of-a-crow........23.................................... .................23 Jambo.....................16...................... .............................. 16 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- angelic................... 12...............0..........0..............0..........12 cidered abroad...........7................................ ......................7 hawkmoonfy..............6..............1..........0...............0...........7 Guess the result and scorers Blackburn v Bristol City Saturday February 2nd k.o. 15.00 same old...same old ***1 point for guessing the result Blackburn win / draw / Bristol City win ***10 points for predicting the exact score i.e. 2-1, 3-3, 1-3 ***5 points for nominating each Bristol City scorer in the opposition net entries including edits must be in by kick-off COYR Lhiats
Blackburn's home record is; P-14 W-6 D-2 L-6 Goals F-16 A-17 I think we can reasonably expect a draw in this one. 1-1
BLACKBURN LATEST BBC Radio 5 live's Ian Dennis reports that Blackburn Rovers are now favourites to sign DJ Campbell from QPR. He had held talks with Hull City. Blackburn will also sign Jerome Thomas from WBA on a permanent deal. Busy few hours ahead at Ewood Park it seems... We might have to revise our forecasts.
Seems like Blackburn managed to cock up the paperwork for DJ Campbell's move from QPR. Is this a sign that our luck has turned? They did not get Jerome Thomas either. Does it make tomorrows match easier or harder?
Blackburn 1 Bristol City 1 -Steven Davies hope that at last we can get points from sides in the middle of the table
