Welcome to the new prediction league for the 2021/22 season Same as last season... Predict the result and the time of the first goal. How to score points for both games: Result game: (90 minutes only - not including extra time or penalties in cup games) Example, if the result was Rovers 2 City 1... 5 points - if you predicted 2-1 to Rovers (exact result correct) 3 points - if you predicted Rovers to win but with a different result like 3-1 (right outcome but wrong result) 0 points - if you predicted a draw or defeat for Rovers (incorrect result and outcome) Goal time game: (FIRST goal only) 5 points - if you predicted the exact time of the first goal scored 3 points - if no exact winner, closest predicted time then wins 0 points - if your prediction is not the exact time or closest time If the score ends 0-0, no points will be awarded for zero goals in the goal time game. So if you predict a 0-0 for a result and it ends 0-0, you get the 5 points for exact result but no extra points for no goal time. So maybe worth still selecting a goal time even if you predict 0-0 because if you get the 0-0 wrong, you still have a chance to win points on selecting a goal time. Pretty easy really. Any questions, just ask. Please predict the following result and time of the first goal in... Game 1: Mansfield vs Rovers (Sat : League) Game 2: Rovers vs Cheltenham (Tues : EFL Cup) Game 3: Rovers vs Stevenage (Sat : League) Game 4: Rovers vs Oldham (Tues : League) Game 5: Exeter vs Rovers (Sat : League) Good luck
Please predict before kick off of each game. Late predictions won't be counted. Also, if you want to make any amendment, please make a new post with the new prediction.
Yaaayy - prediction game’s back!!! Can’t let Massive win this one with his 1-0 69er shenanigans! How about attendances CJS - now that fans are allowed back are we doing those?
Yeah, can't let Massive regain his title! He will start on -50 if he plays Not doing attendance because I can't be assed to work out the math on who is closest Why don't you or someone else do a prediction game on the attendance. I'll join
Ok. I’ll do a bit of investigation about limits on attendances first because I can’t remember if stadiums are fully open yet? If they’re not that makes an attendance game a bit crap and I won’t bother for now.

Great to have this back again CJS, thanks for running it. Seeing how well Massive did last season with his disgraceful 0-1 defeat prediction for every single game, I am going to do similar this season and make a blanket prediction of a Rovers 2-1 victory in every game with a 1st goal time of 21 mins. As my hospital prognosis means I may not be in a position to enter each section individually, would it be ok for you to take this as my entry each time a game is played please for the entire competition. While I am confident we'll win more than we lose this season, I can't bring myself to predict a clean sheet too often! Thank you.
GreatWesternGas I hope that whatever your health issue is that you will soon be returned to full health and fitness and be able to attend matches if that is your wish
Good evening my blue few friends, let's get this party started! Game 1: Mansfield 2 Rovers 1 69'er Game 2: Rovers 1 Cheltenham 2 69'er Game 3: Rovers 1 Stevenage 2 69'er Game 4: Rovers 1 Oldham 2 69'er Game 5: Exeter 2 Rovers 1 69'er
Evening Massive. Here to defend your title! I note that you have adopted a slightly different tactic - including not putting when the first goal is scored (reminder: 69er!).
Thank you for the 69'er heads up, I've changed my theory of scores simply because of Brett Pitman, if he gets injured i may go back to the old trusty 1-0's
