Reports have emerged in todays papers that Pep Guardiola is being lined up to replace AW in the summer.

If true what do you think?

    I'm all for it.

yes please? you and others (may not be you jayram), say that wenger is not a great manager, he only inherited a great team, and then you want guardiola?!

he inherited the best team possible, of course he's done amazing with it. i think any manager could do what he's done. i think we should go for someone who has experience improving a side that is struggling, as we are now, not a manager who got a great team and kept them great, because we are not great.

  5. I like what Pep has done with the work rate of the team - thats the major difference with Barca. He can motivate his players, although I hate the fact that diving and feigning injury is actually part of their training.

Spot on, it's the work Barca do off the ball that I would like to see us do. Remember the way the invincibles used to hunt the ball down when they lost possession? Why can't Wenger instill the same work ethic into this generation?

good point, except i think most managers would impress work rate into our play. especially if they came from the german league, where work rate is a major part of the top teams play. i don't think pep would be as successful at arsenal, because he'd try and turn them into barca and probably fail. i would like someone who could start the team over again with a new style of play: still attractive, but also hard working, efficient and fast.
