I see our great leader has not given up on the business of getting Pepe Guardiola back to our place! Loadsa money has been put on the end of the baiting hook! Far as I'm concerned anyone who's given the Special One a run for his money is welcome at the Bridge! How will this news be recieved by the True Blue?
I'd love to see Guardiola here, but I reckon the chances of it happening are between 0 and 0.000001% to be honest. Lot's of talk in the Times about Lauren Blanc, Pep and a clamour from the senior directors at the club for Jose...
I saw the speculation about Lauren Blanc! I dont know too much about him but he seems to have a pretty good track record! If I had a choice it would have to be the Special One (with a nice few quid to spend on players)
Agreed mate, can't see him coming here when he's managing the best club side in 30 years. Also he is pretty keen on poaching David Luiz and Barca have started their press campaign to get him.
Pep has talent but so did AVB. Massive difference between managing a team that has had xavi, Iniesta and Messi in their prime to trying to sort us out.
No comparison between Pep and AVB...regardless of the quality of the players you still have to get the best out of them...Pep has done it...6 trpohies in his first season, and more since...AVB ****ed it...sacked in 9 months...
And AVB done it with Porto. He took a team that struggled the year before to the treble without getting beat once. Pep has done well but look at the team, youth set up etc he inherited and look at the money they have spent as well. He'd having nothing like them resources with us. Maybe the money but even then, we can't attract players like Barca can.
Agree. The players love him at Barca due to him being a legend at the club, not to mention the money and players he had at his disposal. A good manager no doubt but I don't think he suits Chelsea.
to a certain degree he is protected at barca, he is a part of the whole barca machine, he will not have that at his next club, it will be a big test for him.
I think your right Drogs and Lucky, i don't think he would be any better than Ancelloti for instance who imo should never have been sacked. Obviously the perfect man for the job would be Mourhino
Well they've gone OK so far with the same players that were dog crap a month ago. That says more about the players than Robbie. At seasons end at least 3 of the old mob to go. As for Guardiola coming, there's two chances, Bugger All and **** All.
**** Blanc. I never want to see another French ****er at Chelsea again. Yes we had one of the best in Makelele but the rest have been a pain in the arse to varying degrees. Yes and I include Desailly & Anelka in that statement.
le beouf was alright until he got his nose busted tel !! i had him at 14-1 when he scored his first ever goal at the bridge
