As the first and only London club to win the European Cup, I feel that it should really be a London team that gives us a guard of honour. The first London club we play is QPR, so it should be by them. They're a stubborn bunch though, they didn't want to do one for us after we beat the world's best. But the result they gave us was better than any guard of honour. Another refusal this time around and they are welcome to do the same to compensate.
I understand where you are coming from Yurilly, but we won it for England! So a guard of honour at Wigan would be very nice! Even better, what about a guard of honour at the Community shield, against the Mancs?
get a grip...the lot of you...next you will say the whole nation should have turned up to join in the open top parade. head up one's own orifice by you folk it seems
Drogs..come on now..get them to behave on here. i mean wanting ..no sorry..demanding guards of honour.
Fantastic post Yurilly! They did kind of do a guard of honour by letting us stick 4 past them before I'd finished my Mars bar. And their fans did a guard of honour for Torres hat-trick: walking out after 80 mins
how about we all introduce a celebratory kit for our own respective clubs in chelsea blue? im getting the hang of these illusions of grandeur.
Might as well, you'll never have any trophies to celebrate in that surrender white you usually show up in. Maybe you could turn that kit into flags ???
The headline: Spuds surrender as white flag is only way to admit defeat... Poor spuds. Anyway would love a guard of honour at Wigan and QPR tbh... would be great! Can't see it though.
You mean other fans don't have get out a mat facing Stamford Bridge, on their knees and bow eight times a day?
