I think this is a good signing, NP wouldn't take the risk if he wasn't 100% sure. His track record for signings in both stints has been good (in my opinion).
I think he could be a decent signing actually, assuming he's fully fit. Creative midfielder that can chip in with a few goals and bags of experience in this league including promotion. We capitulated after xmas last season and additions such as GTF and Wasilewski may well help to steady the ship during tougher times and help some of the younger lads out.
They couldn't afford his wages as per usual - a potential first team player for them is a backup for us and we need experienced backups.

Players like Dean Hammond, Marcin Wasilewski and Gary Taylor-Fletcher would have been invaluble last season when we slumped. We still have a very young squad, experience helps
Just can't win really, last season we were moaning about our poor slump, suggesting the reason behind it was the low average age of our squad and our lack of experience. This season we sign some experience, and we moan some more....

Never never happy. lol To be fair GTF must have impressed enough during his trial and shown something. Pearson and his staff hardly have a terrible record of signings being a failure do they. 1 year contract, very decent addition to assist in trying to get promotion. If we do then he will be released anyway I should imagine.
