Graham Turner has agreed to continue for the next season. Let's hope he meets with greater success with his signings in the close season.
Good news I think, experienced head, knows the setup and the staff. As you say, let's hope for a fruitful closed season full of quality adding signings
and more importantly stop relying on mass loan player's, one or two will be fine. He's still kept far too many players who I think are not good enough for this division, but we'll have to wait and see .....
The more he gets rid of the more he has to replace! Obvious but difficult! What would be the minimum viable squad size to keep us somewhere near mid-table? So many inponderables! Who'd be a football manager?
Happy with this. I have been pretty confident all season of survival (bar a blip after the Orient game, which was promptly rectified by beating Franchise!) which speaks volumes!
Re players, if you look at some other squads in this league they have upto 30 players on their books, so our squad looked quite miserly.
first of all young tom is kept on, and now gt has put his slippers back on the shelf. aj has a funny feeling town's cup may runneth over next season.
