You got away with another defeat tonight, thanks to Watford losing too. Can't believe you could go up automatic with 15 defeats and only around plus ten goal difference! This league is insane.

Yes an absolutely superb and vital victory for us tonight, not to be under estimated against a Bolton side on fire in recent weeks! It's been a crazy season, thankfully nobody else seems to want the 2nd spot either and we're hanging in there, fingers crossed we hold on in there.
Lets not do the "Ifs and buts" it will tear you up inside! Just enjoy tonight, and sit back for a bumpy ride to the end of the season. Rather this than mid table or fighting relegation.
I think we've only got 14 defeats so far, but that could still see us up with 17 defeats, for us to be denied Watford would still need to win 2 of their last 3, or Palace all 4 of their 4. Middlesbrough have 21 defeats so far, and when they scored the opener Sky still reported it as getting their playoff push back on track. And Brighton have drawn 17, or is it 18 now. Looking at the other end of the table, sides could easily need more than 55 points to stay up.
To be honest, I don't think you need another point (well, maybe one to cover your poor goal difference) as we'll be taking Watford and Palace out of the running. The 15 defeats I was referring to was a guestimate, based on an average of one win, one draw and one defeat.
Just need to stop leaking goals, but good to see us fight out a win, i wasnt there but listening to it on the radio almost gave me a heart attack.
