There should be a Wanted sign with a picture of you outside every non league ground & every mainline train station. #serialevader
I have been in contact with every bookmaker in the country and you have been blacklisted and all accounts have been closed in your name. #welchingonbetsisnotgood
Once again many thanks to our IT Master, Mr Lardiman. Hallam is about three miles outside of Sheffield in a pleasant little suburb called Crosspool. Hallam was very convenient to do with us playing Mansfield the following day, the trains were all up the spout so pretty much needed an overnight stop. Hallam's ground is the oldest in the world so is a must for any groundhopper. It is not the best of grounds with it being two sided and sharing with the cricket club, lacks character but I was aware of this beforehand so was not totally disappointed. A cracking game saw Hallam beat Armthorpe Welfare 5-2, it could have been a lot more. The full admission was paid and a programme and badge were secured, so Hallam benefitted to the tune of £11.00 plus £6 with a lager and two coffees.
Crawley Green v Baldock in the Spartan South Midlands League yesterday finished 1-1 in front of a crowd of 54. This is another ground using a 3G pitch. A lot of non-league grounds are now using, or beginning to look at having it installed, it is costly but makes sense as they can make use of the ground more. This was another enjoyable game played on 3G, both teams trying to play football on the ground instead of hoof ball on a bumpy pitch.
The four pictures of the pitch are part of Luton's training ground. Crawley Green own the pitch they play on which they allow Luton to use for certain games.
I was looking forward to coming here as curious to what we would find, but I left disappointed as the facilities were very basic and you'd never know that this was Luton's training ground if you did not know before.
Doing Cracovia v Wroclaw this Saturday night. I hope those nasty Polish ultras do not get too upset seeing a trendy midget being there doing an impression of David Bailey. #prayfortheelf
Standing next to a beautiful statuesque Brazilian lady thinking to themselves …. 'if that's what you have to marry to get into the UK post Brexit then we're staying in Poland'
Mrs Elfs shall not be attending. Brazilians do not do temperatures below 5 at night. The only cold thing she'll have to put up with is me
Programme(although in newspaper form) secured. There are no bloody boozers next to the ground, so I have ended up having a pre-game beer in a cinema round the corner!!!! Nice to see the boys won. "Lee, Lee, Lee Bowyer".
