FFC have submitted a (sounding out) planning document to the local council - http://http://www.apps.lbhf.gov.uk/PublicAccess/tdc/DcApplication/application_detailview.aspx?keyval=LUA7Z5BI04F00&searchtype=PROPERTY&module=P3 It looks fairly ambitious. The Riverside re-vamp is higher than suggested at the mini-exhibition and over hangs the river more than I imagined. Also the inclusion of 6 properties is new. Humble little, but prestigous, Johnny Haynes will certainly be overshadowed. Filling the ends though should enhance the atmosphere. The snails and river life have a fair hearing but the size, albeit on the 'blind' side, will no doubt give the locals a burp or two. The timing may be bring a favourable response, jobs etc., from the Borough politicians. I suspect though it will be more an amber than a green light.
Seems a good idea and don't think there should be much resistance... The only problem I see is that is going to spoil my view of the river from JH stand!!! But can live with that!!
