This might be more for our Irish R's. Just bought a greyhound (1/2 share with a mate). The dog was breed in Ireland, which is a good start. The dogs mother is called Liasgarbh Ene, and I was wondering what Liasgarbh means?
It's the Irish Kennel Club name, all dogs bred by that breeder will have that as the first part of it's name. It's a place in Galway. Over here all of the top kennels do the same like Westmead or Droopys...
I used to love a night out at Walthamstow dogs - a great place to people watch...and consistently back the losing hounds
I knew I would get loads of banter with the name, but it's better than going on the politics thread. I did think it might be a place in Ireland but googled it and nothing come up.
Right for people who are interested, our dog won it's last trail. So he will be graded and be racing proper soon. This is the little fella, no his not in prison. Hopefully he stays sound and enjoys himself. We will make sure he has a nice home when his racing days are finished.
