Just chatting with my mate at work who is a Brentford fan and said Grella has signed for them unsure if Loan or Permanent.. I thought he looked decent for us - Bit lightweight but good poacher. Any thoughts?
He's signed for them - it's not a loan. Unfortunately we had to let Mike go due to his inability to score even in a brothel.
The issue Grayson had with Grella is that he was a flair player, so he couldn't fit him in his team...a la Nunez. All Grella really needed was a good run in the team and we would have had a pretty decent player on our hands who could then have become a quality squad player. But no, Grayson can't get his head around the beautiful game. I really hope Grella can now go on to fulfill his undoubted potential, it's all going to be down to his attitude now. Is he hungry enough, or has Grayson broken his spirit? Good luck to the lad, he deserved better at Elland Road.
Not today. I believe young Larry is still looking for a centre back though, and we have some rather exciting plans for squad development which I'll be able to tell you about after the transfer window is closed.
